• Graduate training in collaboration with the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Chicago State University. Students base their research on the Museum's Africa collections, carry out cooperative projects in Africa, and form long-lasting ties to Museum and African mentors. In the course of their research, many of these students also establish field partnerships with African students.
