ORDER—CHIROPTERA
FAMILY—Rhinolophidae

COMMON NAME—Fawn-colored roundleaf bat.

DISTRIBUTION—
Peninsular Malaysia to Australia and Vanuatu; Philippine specimens from Mindanao [Davao del Sur (FMNH) and Maguindanao (FMNH)] only.

HABITAT—Virtually unknown in the Philippines; recorded in caves on Mindanao (Sanborn, 1952). On Borneo, usually roosts in caves and forages in forest (Payne et al., 1985).

STATUS—
Unknown.

COMMENTThe taxonomic status and distribution of this species were discussed by Jenkins and Hill (1981).
