| This Ainu building was constructed at the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis. Frederick Starr and the nine Ainu delegates who agreed to be part of a "living group" at the exposition dismantled two Ainu houses in Japan and shipped the components to St. Louis. This house was constructed from the parts. |
