The scabbard of this Tanto is lacquered in a lustrous black and is decorated in a simple matter with five chrysanthemums painted in gold. All of the sword furniture, including the kozuka is of silver with finely tooled floral designs. The tsuka is wrapped in white ray skin with black silk cord wound around it. The blade is only 27 cm long, and has a medium straight hamon line.
